Embed a YouTube Video in a Post or Page
Various Usage - These Tutorials can be used with WordPress Installations and have Many Other Applications and Uses for Blogs, Social Networking and More
Either search for a video you would like, navigate to your YouTube Channel, or navigate directly to the video you wish to Embed
Below the video, click on the “Share” button and you will see several more options appear below.
In the newest set of options, make sure that only One Checkbox is checked; the one title “Use Old Embed Code”
Just below that, you will see a box that says “Custom”. Put the appropriate number for your design layout into the “Width” box. (the default values will work fine for most installations)
Now click in the box just above the line “After making your selection, copy and paste the embed code above. The code changes based on your selection.” and COPY the HTML code.
Now you have the code you need to paste into the HTML
Log in to your website, and Edit or Create a Post (see our other tutorials)
On the Edit or New Post page, select the tab at the top right under the title that says “HTML”
Congratulations! You have made a live Post and included an Embedded Video!
